This year's Land of Saints comes from SLO. The nose shows a terrific mix of red and black fruits with dark cherry and raspberry kept in balance by some savory herb/ oak notes. The palate is just shy of moderate in weight with good acid and a good presence of fruits balanced by savory spice notes. When three winemakers get together, their talents can dilute or multiply, and in the case of LoS, we are grateful that it is a moment of multiplication.
